3Rs Day

In 2020, the 3RCC plans to hold a joint webinar series with some of its European peers. The pan-European event The 3Rs Across Europe will take place 22-24 September at lunchtime from 12:30 - 14:00 CEST.

3Rs researchers from across Europe will present their research projects. Everybody working with animals or interested in supporting the 3Rs from all career stages is encouraged to attend. The federation of Swiss veterinaries accredited the event with a half day of continuing education.

The webinar is jointly organised by Charite 3R, 3Rs-Centre Utrecht Life Sciences, the Swedish 3Rs Centre, the Danish 3R-Center, the NC3Rs, and the Swiss 3RCC.

Register now via Zoom.

You can choose to register for a single day or the entire series. The 3RCC has applied for accreditation for a half day with the Swiss Association of Cantonal Veterinarians.

The first Swiss 3Rs Day on 2 September 2019 in Bern attracted nearly 200 attendees. The event, commemorating the 3Rs principle, Russel and Burch first described 60 years ago, offered invited lectures and presentations of research results on the 3Rs (Abstract book). The event was accredited as one day of continuing education. More information.
